But, if you haven't been assigned a trip on your last day prior to noon then as far as I'm concerned you might as well be going into a golden day. If they were to assign you a trip after noon, it would essentially be a JA since you would be reporting on an x day and not just carrying over into it. And remember - you are never REQUIRED to answer your phone regardless of your on call status. In fact, for a long call assignment, you have at least nine hours before you even have to acknowledge the assignment.
