Not trying to come off as a jerk at all, but no, your CP was NOT typed on the CL-65 until attending initial with a MED return last fall.

I beg to differ. Before he left, he flew as a CA in the jet for about 6 months. Kinda hard to fly as CA in the jet without a type now isn't it?
As far as it being wrong hiring from outside the company....Is this your company? Do you own it? Do you as a line pilot have any right or say in who they hire for CP? I don't think so. The people that pay the bills can hire whomever they dang well please. End of story. Now in your little storybook world, you might have liked someone else, but until you whip out your wallet and start funding this company...other than the concessions that we took.....then I suggest you leave the hiring to those who are in charge of it.
