My first jet experience came from the left seat of a Hawker 800XP. I was doing an internship in production test at Raytheon in Wichita KS. Needless to say I was overwhelmed by everything and quite far behind the airplane, but the production crew there rought me up to speed pretty quick. The learning curve learning to fly the jet was pretty steep for me because of the lack of formal training, but the 6 months i spent in Wichita proved to be a great introduction into the CRJ that I never get called of reserve to fly now.
