We just recertified the IBT after about 7 months of an independent union, and already I'm much more impressed with the IBT after the Local 747 shakedown than I was previously (they were completely ineffective previously, which was what led to their decertification back in May). Only time will tell if we get the contract we deserve, but I know that the Airline Division is already actively pursuing meetings with management and the outgoing union to pick up negotiations where they left off.
