Also I only show 40 bucks worth of per diem during my cq month. That can't be right. I'm on the airbus and my captain I'm flying with says I was shorted at least a 1000 dollars. I need a delta guy to explain this. So in short with training or vacation are you ever paid below the 70 hour guarantee? Thanks 320b
You are only looking at the credit in icrew. You will also see your CQ days listed on there but they do not count towards credit. With 4 days of CQ or vacation, your reserve guarantee is reduced by 1/30th or 1/31st (depending on # of days in the bid month) for each day of CQ or Vacation (a 30 day bid month equates to approximately 2.33hrs per day for the month). You would then multiply the 26 days available which would equal 60.67 and this would be your new reserve guarantee. Now your 4 days of CQ is worth 3:15 per day or 13 hrs. Add the 13 hrs to your 60.67 and you will be guaranteed at least 73.67 hours for the month.
Hope this helps shed a little light in a confusing process.
