At least at Colgan we can say we have never furloughed and have grown when most others are failing. I would never trade steady employment for a few dollars in pay and an extra day off. The reason I got furloughed was because of reduction in flying and routes being handed to other regionals with bigger aircraft and a lower cost pilot group (like Colgan). Why do you think Colgan is growing or hasn't furloughed? Because you are replacing mainline flying and undercutting other regionals with cheaper labor!! Congrast on having a job, you must be so happy. I am enjoying my furlough, because I can sit at home knowing that I make more money in unemployment than you flying around in your 70 some seat turboprop.
