Never think Mesaba is safe. They are in no way safe. If I were you I would rather be at a contract carrier while Delta is trying to dump capacity.
If I were at any regional, wholly owned or not, I would be ready for anything. If you think youre more safe @ a contract carrier vs a wholly owned you're already setting yourself up for trouble.
