More people being added behind you doesn't increase your seniority... people leaving in front of you does.

And they will LIE through their teeth to the public about how they operate their airline.

The only thing management at Colgan Air is concrened with is completion factor, and they will stop at nothing to get their way.

Colgan management is directly responsible for harboring the fear and intimidation about calling out sick and fatigue regarding this accident. And yet they still continue to operate the way they do.
This is all true. It had eased up somewhat after the accident, but it seems to me they are slowly creeping back to their old ways. Lying through their teeth to the public is correct... I read the report they sent to NTSB (the one that came a month or two ago I think?) and it was full of outright blatant LIES. I hate the fact that I have to work for scums like them (to ME it feels like it makes me no different than these scum since I chose to work for them) and am in the process of getting out as well.

I don't know why everyone is all up on winglets, esp the applicants who are making it obvious that they know absolutely nothing about colgan... When you say you are asking for information, are you really just wanting an affirmation that you are making the right choice? And why does it matter where he works when he has a very good point about the whole thing?

I think that the applicants should ask specific questions that way you won't just get a response "dont go there." However true that may be it probably doesn't help the querrying party and only serves to give them the impression that the person is just bitter. I do realize it's kind of hard to ask specific questions when you're a CFI and don't know yet about the many fine practices like junior manning, extensions, REPO (based in Dulles, anyone?)
