My solution is dump the fences, get the company to agree to pay protect those that would have held the position with a fence for a term of six years (fence plus the year it would have taken for them to get displaced on the joint bids) and get the 777-300's. I think that you would have to prove that there was intent by the company to use a displacement to cause pilots of lesser seniority on a the joint list to be displaced. If I recall it was about as even as you can get with North going South and South going North.
As for what three says. Bloch is smart IMO, it is vague and will keep him in business. Are we going to do this and then when the 330's arrive in ATL on the next bid have the same argument from the North guys?
I am not on the DRC, but as it looks to me, this idea is in levels of gray.
