I applied to Colgan the day they announced their hiring. I'm currently flying 10-15 hrs a month. I have an non flying job where I'm making 40-50k a yr. Do I want to do it forever? Absolutely not. After reading this thread I cannot believe the conditions Colgan has. Pay for your own hotel? 18,000 a yr? Are you kidding me? When instructing it kills me to loose pay to MTX'd aircraft and that was with making around $40,000 a yr. I can't imagine that on 18,000 a yr. Thanks but no thanks. If there was a good contract I could deal with it. With the non-existent contract there's not a chance in the world. The same goes for Lakes. There's not much movement these days. It won't kill me to wait it out.
