A highly respected MD-11 ACP claims we've signed a letter of intent with Boeing for 777Fs. Take it for what it's worth. As for what it gives us--more airplanes. There are very few MD-11s left out there and virtually none are for sale. We need the lift yesterday so let's get on with it! Speaking of lift, I talked to the head of -11 standards a couple of weeks ago and he said 7 more -11s and 2 MD-10s will be online by Christmas. That's a lot of extra lift for peak.

If it's not on the ramp and painted purple (or in this case, old Delta markings), it's just a rumor.
