I have an interview lined up with Colgan this weekend. I really don't want to work for them, and I wasn't planning on doing any following up with them. Chuck Colgan called me the other day and asked me up for an interview. I accepted, but I just wrote them an email requesting to cancel my interview. I just can't go from Mesa to Colgan. One crappy regional to an even crappier regional. Going there will not help our industry, and it will not help the Colgan pilots. I'll find a job doing something else. I'm not making myself miserable there. I can make more money and be happier doing something local here until the industry picks up again and I can get on with a respectable carrier that treats their people properly. I've been through enough at MAG. I'm not about to take a step backwards.
