Yeah, I had an interview with CommutAir and was hired into a pool. They claim that they are getting ready for 10 300s to come and wanted to get the interviews out of the way. They gave no time frame but did say if I did not want to give up my seniority here at PDT, then I would have to sign a 2 year $12,000 training contract in which $500 is taken off every month of service.
Saw on the MEC announcement today about the possibility of an early retirement agreement. Doubt it will happen but it would sure be nice to have a little movement and possibly bring back more of us furloughed guys.
Those are the same 300's Piedmont was looking at in Spain ... they won't be available a least until 2011.
