While on this topic, it wouldn't hurt to say that maybe, just maybe, we should knock off the "its a good plane!" stuff in the gate house in front of passengers. Because inevitably there is the person who does not know the proper etiquette, proper time, proper place or decible level on debriefing another pilot on the MEL issues of the aircraft they're about to take.

I think this thread will always serve a purpose and therefore won't really ever die but evidently there is something the alpa web board just doesn't accomplish that this one does but then of course this one is public. I know a lot of people who come here and read whats here, I'd say I know 6-7 people off hand that read it a lot that don't have an avatar.
Food for thought:
Look at the views versus posts. It is about 1000 views per post so there are a TON of people from our ranks, the company, association, other air lines, media etc that read this thread.
