That sounds like a Denny Green quote.

We have faces and names, but we are in no way in the strategic operation of this business. My wife was a Sr. Financial Analyst at a large purple company and presented "Outlook Information" to the CFO and CEO each week. When investors sued the purple company for missing projections, guess who ended up deposed in legal proceedings?
You are correct, we (at least I know that I'm not) are not in the strategic operation of this business however, it appears that your wife was. How does her situation relate to posting on this web board? Also, I am guessing that since your wife was directly involved in the strategic operation of some purple business, she would be a likely candidate to be questioned about financial/operational projections. I am also guessing that as long as she was conducting her business as a prudent/honest person would, the lawsuit was not able to "pierce the corporate veil".

Very good advice to live by.
