Some of us cut our teeth driving the Van. So sorry that a guy or gal making about two times what a regional FO makes, flying single pilot, and only having a VOR and ADF flew his aircraft near red line and slowed you down.

I currently fly a plane a good bit faster than a Van or an Arrow, but if the pilot is driving the bird hard, and making a couple bucks, then I am willing to slow down.

Heck, when I was driving the Van, I often had to slow inside the marker because I was doing 170 and the guy in front was only holding 130. For the record, I cannot count the number of times I have had to slow the mighty Saab down for an RJ, or 74, or anything else. But I figure, we are all making money and doing our best, so live and let live.
Lol, well, since you're going to take offense to it and spread falsehoods....

My friend worked for GA Skies (well New Mexico Air) and got fired for not wanting to fly around in severe icing conditions. He most certainly didn't make double what I made.... he came up to my pay rate when he made Captain. That's right, he was a Caravan first officer.

Popeye's is great!

hehe, we definitely don't get paid by the minute. When I'm 60 to 70 hours below guarantee, an extra 5 minutes doesn't really help. As far as being a real pilot - heck, the certificate says I'm one so I'll take that.

Ya'll need ta lighten up some... did you not read the "haha" at the end of the post? One of my most fun moments was taking the roll of a GA skies type plane once way back in the day. Instrument approach in a C-152 ahead of a 757.... max forward speed... I can do 120 all the way down the glideslope but when I get to minimums I gotta slow it up.... so a closure rate of like 130 to 80 made that 75 eat up the distance in no time.

Anyways, oh well.

Since you guys think I'm in some big hurry, nothing I can do - but I think we can all agree that Pacific Wings/New Mexico Air/GA Skies is a bottom feeding pilot pushing company. They have no union and fired the union organizers too....
