I'm flying an old turbocharged piston as fast as I can to minimums single-pilot. How did you earn your seat?
And yeah, we're slow, we slow people down when we're 20 or so miles from the airport, but I can also do 180 knots to a 4 mile final and still be stable.
Well said. There's too many "jet kids" in the regional industry who think they were born in an RJ.
I used to love people telling me the ATR was a pig and a POS they'd never fly. Then I'd invite them to j/s with me and see what it could
really do Outrunning 777s on the parallel into ATL by holding 200 to a 2 mile final, yet stabilized approach by 1000' was always a trip.
