Rule #1 for working at an airline- Do not ever learn or memorize anything that was not given to you by the company. Every Saab operator uses different numbers and has different limitations for the aircraft. Do not even use old Colgan Saab books because those numbers have changed as well
Learning outside numbers and limitations is not only a waste of time but will drill those numbers into your head.
So what would you suggest? Do you think it would be alright to study the systems and not the limitations. Or say the hell with it and just relax until I get to class?
