The vast majority of "Purduebees" were hired 1997-2001, well before any 170 was on property, and any of them still there are easily in the top 10% of the seniority list. The 2nd group of low-time Purdue grads happened mid-07 thru 2008 when they dropped the 1500/300 minimums they had for the 170 spin-up, and these folks never really got close to upgrade in ANY airframe.
Any Purdue grads hired in between those two groups, and there were more than a couple, came from places like Trans States or Piedmont or Air Wisconsin and easily met the 1500/300 mins.
