For a while I worked part-time for a company called Mosaic Sales Solutions (online at mosaic.com). It's a merchandising job where you primarily go into retail stores and do audits or assist the stores with various projects. They are all over the country. I worked in Best Buy, Target and Staples stores.

It was perfect for a 2-3 day per week schedule and I was able to learn some new skills. Having merchandising experience helps but not necessary. I took home about $500 per week doing it.
