Just a thought from one who does not have a dog in this fight, nor do I have the background to fully comprehend the situation. But (you knew that was coming), could any of those waiting to move up the list, honestly say they would do the right thing and retire when it was "supposed" to happen? This is not directed at any particular poster, just curious if those now stuck will get out at the earliest time allowed to permit others to move up?

I guess this question covers all of the APC areas - Major, Regional, Cargo, etc.
