But (you knew that was coming), could any of those waiting to move up the list, honestly say they would do the right thing and retire when it was "supposed" to happen? This thread was started under the apparent misconception that this guy was going back to the 727 S/O seat when he turned age 65. This, after earning well over 100 credit hours/month as an MD-11 Captain for years. All the while, the majority of the FDX pilots are earning a reduced income of less than 68hrs/mo.
You can be sure that nearly all of the crewmembers at FDX have absolutely no intention of going back to the 727 S/O seat when they reach age 65.
How many will stay past age 60? My guess is 81.5%.
