You think Chatty is bad, we've got Captains now hitting 65 and bidding the DC8 FE position. The only problem is the 8 doesn't exist anymore. The geezers don't think it's fair that we have some guys on the FE list that haven't yet retrained since the fleet is GONE... and those FE's are "junior" to them, mostly new hires being threatened with a furlough. They want to train and sit. They don't think it is fair, they think they are entitled to the seat. Instead of taking a pension, seeing the grandkids, sailing away, forgetting about work, they have to milk it to a pathetic end. Choke the golden goose until it can't give anymore, that's what I am going to remember about this generation retiring... or rather not retiring.
