That is true, but as a comparison of the 2 companies, it tells little of the story. Yes I agree with the fact that bag fees and little airplanes suck. No rational mind would argue that. With SWA, you get about 50 (or so) cities in the USA. With DAL you get over 50 COUNTRIES around the world on 6 continents. I know we all know this, but I think it is helpful to keep that in perspective when comparing the 2 companies. SWA is NOT an upstart like the press so lovingly tags them.. they have been around a long time. What they ARE is a niche player, albeit a good one. DAL is a global corporation. Rant over. Tide still sucks. (but not as bad as the gators)
