In the SIM you will do an instrument takeoff with vectors to a hold....call out the entry correctly and you don't (didn't) have to fly it. Vector for an ILS which you will never break out of...once you go missed sim is paused and ride is over. They call you in a couple of days.

Thanks for the info!..what's passing for the ATP..I really don't feel like going through that book again!..suggest any free ATP prep software?..or even some cheap test prep software?
