Do I lose 6 days of pay out of my sick bank, or do they only charge you for the days you were supposed to work?

They will show you out sick until you call in well. As for your pay bank you will only use as many hours as you missed for your trip.
Eg. If you had a 4 day worth 24 hours you would 24 hours out of your sick bank. Hopefully that clears it up.
