Talking about "average pay" for regional airline captains and FO's, ok but that average is being dragged higher by the Skywest's, Expressjets, Horizons of the industry. I'd be interested in average for Fo's at Colgan or lets just say average first year it's misleading to talk about an overall average.

I feel a little ashamed but I didn't know that code shares indemify their mainline carrier for all liability.... that is a HUGE incentive to shift as much flying to a regional as you can even disregarding pay.

Overall VERY good reporting on the part of PBS, I feel like I should make a donation to them.... maybe 2% of my salary, more reports like that are worth an ALPA amount.
