In case you missed the news they are expecting a fairly major snow storm for the south today. What do you think Delta should do? Charter you a private jet to get you home the minute your scheduled rotation ends? If I have something important to do I always leave a one day buffer. If its really important I leave a two day buffer. You sound just like a passenger complaining about weather delays or cancelations. I guess the same thing I tell them would apply here. Last I heard Deltas private line to GOD was not working and they have lost the ability to control the weather.

P.S. There is no requirement they get you back the same day on a reroute. They do have to pay reroute pay if they don't however they can reroute you well beyond the same day.
