I wonder how many de-ice trucks we could buy with the amount of money we are losing for canceling flights in ATL due to snow flurries? Seems like after the last two years it might be a good idea to invest in enough de-ice equipment to run an airline when a little snow shows up. As I understand it, it is not so much trucks but approved locations that have the proper drain facilities. Part of ATL's issues was that about 10 years ago they found de ice fluid in College Park's water supply.
