Point being, I can't go through life worrying about if I'll have a job next fall, next spring, or until I retire. It'll put my stomach in so many knots I won't be able to enjoy the job I have now, or my wonderful family. If I get furloughed I will find a way to support my family. I dont fear a furlough. Johnson, you and I are a lot closer to each other than you may think. That is my philosophy exactly. I'll ride this horse for as long as I can and then I'll go find another horse. I don't worry about my job or money. I'm not frivolous but I'm not in a bunker either.
I'm also not as pessimistic as you think. If we continue down this path unchecked then America is either finished or it's a revolution. I tend to think that there are enough smart people in this country to stand athwart the road and yell "STOP!" This web board affords us the opportunity to exchange ideas with people we might never come in contact with otherwise. It's a free form flow of ideas. Even Super sometimes stumbles into something intelligent!
