It was just between pilots, but he said he was not going to pursue the issue. From what he was telling me, it sounded really bad. Sounds like he knew things were messed up and he just wants to concentrate on fixing the problems he has. It's much easier to blame training all the time but if the real problem lies elsewhere that won't fix anything. Like I said, I have to admire him for being candid. He could have just put the blame on training like the rest of 'em. I've been in the business for a long time and I've seen the young one's that didn't have what it takes from the start and I've seen some of the old one's start to lose it. I think most of us have a story or two about certain captains that have scared us to death, yet we still think it's always training fault when they fail.
