The difference with Spirit is that we're making money. Wizz Air and Tiger are big losers, but I think that works to our advantage. Indigo is already losing a significant amount of money (on paper anyways) with these two and may not want to add Spirit to the list. They don't want to kill the goose that lays golden eggs. Although they may now want to choke every last egg out of it

. The ULCC model may not work in other places, but Spirit is a cash cow for them. We now have leverage to say a smaller record profit is better than no profit at all.
