????? I dont think you understand how regional CPA's work. Expressjet doesnt pay to clean the aircraft, wash the aircraft, etc .... we pay for certain maintenance costs, crew, and aircraft lease and almost everything else gets paid for by CAL or the major airline who we are flying for. Having ACARS is a small cost that makes the operation run a lot smoother and is going to be something that CAL requires (in the future) of every one of its operators after they tried and failed to force CHQ to use ACARS without it being in their contract.

CAl decided that they wanted their aircraft cleaned and washed. That is what the OP was saying. Quit hating.
