I said I wasn't going after the SKW pilot group as a whole. As far as Slaphappy goes....read some of his other posts....he is SKW, and a microcosm of what is wrong with the profession. He also has a strong distaste for ExpressJet.

I am not saying unions are the greatest thing ever. Just like any organization, it has some serious drawbacks. ALPA national, for example, I don't have warm and fuzzy feelings for. But XJT ALPA, for the most part, does a very good job, and we have many things as a pilot group we would not have if we weren't unionized. The positives heavily outweigh the drawbacks. Hell, form your own in house union if you don't want ALPA.
