You can say, again, that everyone knew Mesa would enter bankruptcy and begin lay offs. You can say, again, that anyone maintaining or starting employment at Mesa after 2006 deserves whatever ugly fate awaits them. I strongly disagree.

During my time at Mesa I met terrific people with whom I would love to fly again. If I ran an airline, I would hire them immediately. To you and DashTrashy 3000 they may be some lower life form. To me they are friends being kicked while they are down.

A winning athlete is more admired when gracious rather than insufferable in victory. Whose company would I rather see in bankruptcy, yours or mine? Yours, of course. If that should happen, would I walk into a room full of employees of your company and crow about the pay cuts, layoffs, cut pensions, and other bad news headed their way? Heck no, only a low-life would do that.

You seem glib about what is happening to my friends. I would give more credit to what you have to say if you were not so. I definitely cannot admire someone like DashTrashMan who gets his jollies baiting people and making light of the havoc in their lives.

The Dash Whisperer

P.S. Trashy, I am not the best Dash pilot, just the best looking.
Don't put words in my mouth. I don't consider this a "victory" nor have I ever said anything remotely close to that. I see it as an opportunity to either fix or delete one of the worst corporate cultures in the industry. I don't wish ill on anyone (except perhaps OJ and Co.), and I am sympathetic towards the people I knew when I was there.

I am not particularly sympathetic towards the new-comers...all the info was available and it did not take a visionary to see where mag was headed. There were plenty of other jobs to be had back then, unless you were seriously defective or unwilling to CFI to 400 hours.
