747 guys are at the end of the line. Most are holding on to the setting sun of good wages and working conditions. Regional pilots sell themselves on the idea that they will move on to a major and accept the low pay since they consider the experience as most of their compensation. The sad truth is that most will never leave or quit to pursue a career outside of aviation.
