If your getting ice during mountain wave activity your likely in a lenticular. I think in that situation ice would be the least of your problems. The turbulence might even shake it off.
To me it is a bit like worrying about ice while caught in a thunderstorm.
I'm taking this from a GA perspective though, might be totally different at altitude in a jet.
