Alright, to get back on the subject of Piedmont,

Ask Piedmont has posted...Not much in the way of recalls or anything like that, but there was a great answer by Bill in MX explaining the difference with aircraft produced before s/n 225. Basically, all aircraft are eligible for life extentions up to 120,000 cycles up from the original 80,000. He explained that Bombardier is in the process of creating the program for us, Jazz, and Winderoe to extend the life of the old 100's. They called it the ReNew program (how unique). This would also include updating interiors with new overheads as well as upgraded avionics. The s/n 225 is interesting because aircraft porduced after 225 included the new interiors but also a new wing. This is the reason why you could take these aircraft and put new more powerful engines in them and eliminate the weight restictions currently problematic on the 100s. It doesn't effect the one 300 as there is no weight issues.

So, 906 might have some more life in her afterall?
