I think we should push for more days off or raise monthly guarantee. If u think about it, monthly gaurantee (due to minimum 4 hrs per day) should be around 80 hrs considering the month is 30 days, for days that it is 31, the company (because the contract states 10 days off per month) is getting to work all reserves an extra day without pay. So, for future contracts for ALL carriers in negotiations, I think it should read something along the lines of 20 days working per month, not 10 days off per month. As for PDT, it would be nice to raise guarantee (which won't happen I think) to account for this or more days off per month.

Now this is all pipeline dreaming, I've stated this to ALPA when my opinion is asked. I'll believe it when I see it. Kinda like the PHX flying. I'll believe that when I'm calling V1...rotate in PHX.

But I try to look at the glass as half full, not half empty cause there isn't too much I can do right now to change the world and I find it better to be happy than to be bitter and sad.
