There is nothing fancy about it. No noise cancelling or phone input. Just a standard headset that works well. It's been banged around a lot, been subject to neglect many times, and stored in various places - non of which were the most optimum (never got a case for it). It's had to endure temps as low as -20 and as high as 110. Through it all, it kept working and all I ever had to replace on it were the ear seals.
Just another option.
Agree 100%. The Flightcoms were my first set in 1992 and they now serve as pax fodder when I run out of the Telex ANRs. As I recall I got a package deal on the Flightcoms. 2 headsets, 4 place intercom and case for $350 bucks (way back then). Some of the trainers I flew did not have built-in intercoms, so the portable I/C was handy.
