I was just wondering who here has or plans on paying for the right to view/apply to jobs on sites such as climbto350, bizjetjobs, willflyforfood etc. I personally have in the past and it just makes me sick. I have subscribed to climbto350 and know others that have subscribed to the other two. These websites are exactly what is wrong with aviation. The pilots are just being used to make money and alot of companies can't even do that. We pay for schooling as it should be, we pay to find jobs(climbto350), we pay for type ratings, some employers now are even charging pilots $250 just to be interviewed are you kidding me! What next, pilots fly for free or pay to fly. Oh wait that is already happening. I know I sound bitter, maybe I am but I just want to hear why people are still paying for these services. I have been able to find a ton of sites that list aviation jobs for FREE. I have seen pretty much every job that was listed on climbto350 on these free sites and also some that weren't on 350. So why in the world are pilots falling into this downward spiral of paying for everything when we get very little out of it. I know supply and demand, but where is the breaking point?
