You hit it right on. Personally, I look at this job as icing on the cake. I still fly for the reserves and this job could go in the toilet and it wouldnt affect me one bit. I enjoy it because Im not tied to it and if it gets old I can leave and still have a retirement to fall back on. I manipulate it to make my life and my family life happy, thats all that matters to me. Not to sound selfish but my main concern is my family, nothing else matters to me. Sorry but that is how I feel about it and I know being at the bottom of the seniority list that nobody gives a darn about me and Im ok with it. I know my boundaries and this job is just gravy.
