DC's are rugged and great quality. I've used them a couple times. I also owned a Lightspeed 15xlc for about 5 years and it worked really well. ANR was good but they are just so big heavy and bulky! I tried a student's Bose QC2 with a uflymike on for about 20 seconds and was sold on it. I got a QC2 and uflymike used for less than 300. And of course you can use the headset to listen to anything else like Ipods and computers etc.

I like it so far. Night and day difference in comfort. They are light and feel great. Mic works fine just like any other headset. Obviously not as durable as aviation headsets though.
