12200 mainline pilots divided by 740 mainline aircraft = 16.5 pilots

Out of the 12200 pilots there are roughly 350 volunteer furloughees and 400 military leave guys.. I didnt count the other leaves.

I was wondering what Mr. Richard Anderson's plan was..? Is he the same as he was at NWA (cut the pilot numbers down to the minimum-->6500 to his goal of less than 4000)?? or is he happy with the current numbers?

** I bring this up because I am hoping and hearing that we are hiring in the near future. I just am having a problem with the numbers, they dont add up. (there must be a really BIG development happening to support the hiring numbers)
