I personally refuse to pay for a job website. If a company needs employees and they feel they need to advertise to get the number of applications they want to fill the job, then I should not have to pay to see that ad. In every other industry, the company with the position pays the publication for the access to their audience. In aviation, the company is smart enough to know that they can get plenty of applications without having to pay for a job posting somewhere, so these websites make their money off of desperate, out of work pilots instead.

I also refuse to pay money to submit an application for a job (I'll reenter my information in Airlineapps a hundred times before I pay for a subscription) and I would laugh at a company that would suggest I pay them for the opportunity to interview. I'm not about to patronize a company (yet alone work for one) that preys on the desperate unemployed.
