Remember the F/O who was soooo large that he couldn't fit into the "sleep room" on the MD-11? I think that was when they instituted a weight limit for crewmembers using the box. Seems to me he wasn't allowed to fly any trip that had an in-flight scheduled "box" rest.

Not sure, but I think he is still the #1 f/o on the MD. He could fit but there was a posted weight limit. It has been removed I believe.
