Another option is to go to OCS and get a non flying billet just to get your foot in the door. Lots of interesting opportunities in the Guard/Reserve, shorter commitment and you can still fly for the regional.
After a couple of years, you can look at your options:
try to get a pilot slot then;
decide the mil option isn't for you, resign and pursue better civilian opportunities;
pursue a dual track civilian flight career and an non flying reserve career
or some combination of the above.
