Are you against contractors working the ramp in general or do you think that head's should have rolled all the way up to the CEO for this accident?
I'd like to know what did happen to the individual who was so negligent in his duties. I wonder if any of the supervisors were reprimanded. Do you think that every one in charge up the chain should have had their head put on the chopping block for the actions of this worker who made a bad mistake (btw - I don't know all the other factors involved in this accident - but it seems as negligent as many of the pilot mistakes I've seen lately - and everyone wants to talk mitigating circumstances there).
Maybe the head rolling should go all the way up to the DOT? Or Beyond?
Btw - I agree with you that it is too bad that there is such a discrepancy within the work force and it makes me ill that any single person can have as much money as say, Bill Gates for example - but it is the American way and you too can have that compensation package. Aren't you glad that you even have the chance? KC is right in that fact - it is the way the business world works right now. I guess they negotiated better. I sure wish the pilot groups could do the same.
