Note that sealed/expunged records or non-conviction arrests will still be an issue for the DoD. Same with drug use which never resulted in an arrest...odds are good they will find out on your background check (they talk to people who know you).
There are definitely other much smaller disqualifying legal issues such as an intox in public (class 4 misdemeanor, the lowest offense misdemeanor). Ive tried both the Air Force and the Reserves. In both cases I talked to several recruiters and they said it was a flat out disqualification without the possibility of a waiver. Sorry to get off subject, just thought it might be a good fyi.
