Yes - I heard that line of reasoning. Out of all the ways that I have ever seen an underun performed - whether it be by a wingman student, a fleet wingman, on purpose, because of lack of airmanship, lack of SA, or some last second play to save a horrible redezvous (and this accounts for my own screw ups too) - I've never seen anyone do anything remotely like that - especially close to the ground, in formation, UNBRIEFED, and over a populated area. I am sure that your reaction as the flight lead would be very similar to mine once we got safetly on the ground!
As LIM points out - I'd sure not be changing the story now!
